CHOICE IS A GOOD THING

It's been eight years since the Canadian Supreme Court overturned the abortion law. To celebrate this landmark in the women's rights struggle, the Canadian Abortion Rights Action League (CARAL) will be hosting a Friends Of Choice dinner Monday (Jan. 29) at the Chinatown International Restaurant, 421 Dundas St. W. P.S. the restaurant was packed full of cheerful celebrants. On the sidewalk outside, two or three scruffy protesters looked almost as marginal as street people.
